In July, we met up with most of my siblings (my brother Robert couldn't make it) went to Big Bear with my dad and his wife, Vickie, for a Walker family reunion. My dad and Vickie use their World Mark points to get a few condos not far from the lake and the kids always have a blast. Here are some of the highlights:
The first day Briana found a great hike for us to go on. We were all expecting more of a "nature walk" as opposed to a full on "hike" but the kids did really well but were happy when we made it back down the mountain to the cars :)
That night we had a "Minute to Win It" game night. There were a million pictures taken and most of them pretty funny but here are just a few:
Jake had to try to move the tennis balls up with a banana tied to a belt.
Riley had to knock over these cans with something (I can't remember what was tied on her belt!)
Riley also got a turn to see if she could empty out this tissue box in a minute. She didn't make it. For some reason she would pull them out quickly but then calmly set them down in a pile next to her.
Sharlene had to knock of the soda cans for one of her challenges.
Our last day we went to the Alpine Slides and did it all! The slides, the miniature golf, waterslides, go carts, and lunch! So fun!
Riley's face says it all. It was a great few days that we'll always remember. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can all get together again.
