A Very Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great weekend together as a family. It was so nice having Doug around for 4 days in a row! For Thanksgiving dinner, we went to my uncle's house who lives here in town. It was super nice to not have to drive far away and sit in traffic. That's one thing I was grateful for this year. I made my first pie crust and it turned out great. I shouldn't have been so scared for so many years to do that, but I'm grateful I tried it and it worked.
Riley lost her battle with her bike this weekend. She fell off and got a big goose egg on her forehead and a black eye. She was grateful she got to go to church and get to tell everybody what happened to her eye. She loves attention :)
I was grateful I got to hang out with my mom, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins (as seen here with my sister, Briana). My uncle's wife had us put our hand print on a tablecloth and write what we're thankful for. Here were are responses:
Doug: I'm thankful for my family.
Me: I'm thankful for my "Doogie" and 4 little kiddies.
Jacob: I'm thankful for my family.
Ryan: I'm thankful to be me.(That was my favorite answer)
Riley: I'm thankful for family.
As you can see, Ryan is the one who had to be different. That's what I love about him!
I was SUPER grateful that Joshua has slept at least 6 hours for 3 nights in a row! This has got to be a record for one of my babies.
The boys came home Thanksgiving morning all wet from the rain and muddy from playing in the annual "Turkey Bowl". I'm grateful for a husband who is so willing to play with his kids and grateful for a nice washing machine to wash all those muddy clothes! Hope your Thanksgiving was full of thanks like mine! Now onto to Christmas. Is anyone else not looking forward to getting out all their Christmas decorations or is it just me? Bah humbug!

Doug. You still have that shirt? Didn't we finish so high in that tournament because of me? If I remember right I was a scoring MACHINE...and I didn't front the guy in the low post with the game on the line...

Glad to see you are all doing well. You need to come to Colorado and visit Doug's sister. I believe she just lives about 10 miles up the road.
