We ate at Benihana's and checked out some sites. My ankles by about 11:00 were looking a little scary so I had to call it a night. It was so nice to just relax in a quiet, COOL place and read my book UNinterrupted!
Saturday was a nice, relaxing day. Doug set up for us to go to the spa and receive massages which were AMAZING!!! They had a cool special pillow for pregnant women that allowed me to lay on my stomach which felt so nice. It's been awhile since I've been able to do that, you know. We hit the pool at the Monte Carlo where we stayed which had a wave pool and lazy river that I basically just camped out in. It was way too hot to be out of the water.
We got ready and went over to the Venetian for a fabulous dinner at their nice steakhouse and then had to RACE over to the theatre to catch Phantom of the Opera. Doug thought it started at 7:30 and I had the feeling at 6:45 to double check that. Good thing because it started at 7:00!!! It must have been a sight to see a big pregnant lady running through the casino trying to get there in time. We literally made it by a few SECONDS!!! It was Doug's first time seeing a Broadway musical and he really enjoyed it. We had seats a few rows back and it was an amazing experience.
We checked out the Venetian after the play and then headed off to our rooms to play some card games with everybody and laughed so hard. We made it back Sunday afternoon to our kids so excited to see us. They had a great time here playing and swimming with their friends but were happy to have us home. We had a day to recover and then headed off to Washington. That post and pictures should be coming soon. It's good to be home and now we need to get ready for school which starts on Monday!! I can't believe this super fun summer has come to an end so soon. Now the countdown begins for baby!!!

Cute...how much fun!!! That must have been so nice to have a kid-free vacation!!! Was the Phantom good??? We are going up there in September and are thinking about going. You look so cute!!

i loved vegas and i love you! i'm so glad we were able to go! i just hope you two don't wait another 10 years before the next kid-free vacation! that was just too too fun!
