With our kids it seems like we are always running to and from sports practice and games. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch my kids play sports. They are pretty athletic and do well and I'm a huge sports fan myself so it's kind of what we do as a family. However it can be pretty exhausting running everywhere and having your Saturdays filled up with games. This past spring the boys really wanted to play flag football for Friday Nights Lights but I missed the sign-ups for it and settled for the Boys and Girls Club and they could actually play on the same team! It was heaven. ONE practice and ONE game to go to each week and they had a B-L-A-S-T!
Jacob was their quarterback and did an excellent job. He's never played that position before but it didn't show. His arm is fantastic and he ran a few touchdowns in himself!
Ryan was a great running back, scored a few touchdowns and was AWESOME on defense. He seemed to be able to just get a hold of anybody's flag. BAM!
Their team was pretty good and ended up coming in 3rd place for the season. As a mother I loved watching my boys play together, get along, and do well on the field. Go Raiders! (only for flag football, though. Go Chargers!)
