Riley Turns 5!!!

Riley woke up on her birthday to breakfast in bed.  

It's an odd numbered year so that means it's a family birthday!  I love those odd numbers...

She opened up her presents which included "Bend-a-what? Bendaroos!", sparkly shoes, some vintage little people sets, clothes, food for her kitchen set, and I'm sure much much more.

She's been begging me to take her to get her ears pierced and I finally relented and said she can when she turns 5.  We headed to the mall on her birthday, filled out all the paperwork, picked out the studs, and then the tears started flowing. She was too scared which was fine by me. We bought some clip-ons and called it good :)

We headed to The Roadhouse for dinner as a family because she really wanted to go somewhere where they would sing to her.  Little did she know they would also dress her up!  She was a little embarrassed but I think she looks pretty cute.  Happy birthday to my one and only girl.  We love you so much, Riley!
