We had such a great Christmas as a family this year. Christmas Eve was special because my mom and my sister came out to spend the afternoon and evening with us. We made a nice dinner and then did our traditional Christmas Eve family night. Ryan saw a recipe in a book he read at school that he thought looked good so he took the time to write it all down and begged me to make them for him. "Chango Bars" was our treat Christmas Eve (kinda like blonde brownies). Ryan has also been begging for us to open up one gift on Christmas Eve and so we started a new tradition this year. It was a great night.
Christmas morning the kids came into our room at 7:00 sharp (I told them don't even think of waking me up earlier than that) and we went downstairs to enjoy our gifts. The boys received air soft guns (what was I thinking??), Riley got her first play kitchen, Josh got some fun toys he can hit, and the family got Arcade Hoops for our playroom. It's got 2 hoops and you play against eachother. It's huge but so fun!! We then went to my mom's for our Christmas dinner and had a great time visiting with one another. We hope your Christmas was a special one too!
