I decided to join countless other moms and teenage girls and go to the midnight showing of New Moon with some friends. We got to the line around 8:00 and then just ate, chatted, painted our nails, and laughed a lot!
Jen and I decided to have a little fun and we made our Team Jacob shirts to try and outnumber the many Edward fans. It was a pretty good movie and let's just say they did a really good job building up the character of Jacob for the next 2 movies. ;)
I don't know if I'll do a midnight show again. I need to realize I'm no teenager and that I can see the exact same show the next day without all the exhaustion! What a novel idea! The next day really kicked my bootie and we had our 2nd annual powder puff game that weekend so I was TIRED! A fun night (and morning). Go Team Jacob!!

it was fun seeing you there! and yeah, we were all thinking how bout next time we make a DAY of it instead. :) though i can't make any promises that i won't be camped out on the sidewalk come June.
and movie #2 ALMOST made me switch over to Team Jacob. Almost.
Yeah......I still can't get on the books bandwagon, but I went to see the movie with my sis and IT WAS GREAT (it made me want to read the books, but I still refuse on principle :) Don't think I'll ever go to see a movie at midnite, though, I'm not a rockstar like you!
