Easter Weekend

Ok, so I'm only a few days late posting about Easter. That's actually pretty good for me. Here it goes: Saturday night was the traditional dyeing of Easter eggs and our lesson on the true events of Easter from the scriptures. Unfortunately both activities were a little crazy with some tears and bad attitudes but we got through them. Josh joined in from his lovely "bimbo" chair (it really is a bumbo but for some reason it always come out bimbo. whatever.).

Isn't he just the happiest thing around? Yes, I know his shirt is covered in his dinner slimes and I'm sure there's plenty of spit-up on it but we love him anyway!

Speaking of happy kids, doesn't Ryan just look like he'll explode from joy?

We tried to have a good time despite some party-pooper moments. Really, it wouldn't be a true Child Family Activity without at least one grump in the mix. I'm sure all of your Easters were contention-free. Please let me know how you do that.

By Easter morning, everyone was happy and excited to find their baskets from the Easter bunny. I thought they'd be disappointed in the lack of candy but they were very happy with their chocolate bunny, book, flip-flops, granola bar, fruit roll-up, fruit gushers, and their decorated eggs.

We finished off Easter Sunday having a delicious dinner with some good friends. Thanks, Jen for hosting! Hope your Easter was fun and eventful!
