What? 5 Months?

(Riley sees a camera and HAS to be in the shot)

Where has the time gone? Wasn't he just a little newborn baby coming home from the hospital? I've been thinking a lot about how fast time is flying because I have 3 good friends (Angie, Chantel, and Amberly EARLY this morning) who have had babies in the last 2 weeks (all boys, yay!)and when I see their new babies it seems like yesterday that Josh was born and coming home with me from the hospital.

Joshua is an absolute joy to have in our home. Many people have said to me,"I think he really likes me because whenever he sees me he smiles so big!" I just agree but inside I'm thinking that he smiles for EVERYBODY and is so happy and content literally all of the time (unless tired or hungry, of course). He does still spit up a bunch and wakes up 1-2 times a night, but he is napping regularly and sleeps in til at least 8:00 each morning. I can't complain about the night waking because I have the BEST husband who takes a feeding at night to help. Josh still isn't rolling over which is significantly behind my other children, but I like to think it's because he's so content to just lay there and be happy. My other kids were crawling by at least 6-7 months and I don't think Josh will make that same timetable. I'm ok with that because being my last child, I'll take him staying my baby for a little longer.

He loves to be cuddled and to nuzzle his head right into your neck. I love it when he sits on my lap and pushes his head back so he can look up at me and smile. He loves to hold and play with his little toys, chew on his burp rags, and absolutely ADORES his older brothers and sister. I just can't get enough of him. I know it's only been 5 months, but it feels like he's been a piece of my heart forever.
