Happy Mother's Day!

We had a great Mother's Day at our house. (Lots of other stuff has happened since I found my camera which will be posted later.) The kids, with Doug's help, brought me breakfast in bed along with many cards and "presents". My kids like to find random things in the house and "wrap" them in various materials. They were excited for me to eat and open all my gifts. We had a great meeting at church where we got to see the boys sing 3 beautiful songs about mothers that of course brought tears to my eyes.

We came home and got ready for my family to come over for dinner. It was so nice to have my mother, grandparents, and sisters over to celebrate. Doug's brother, Brad came over too which is always a treat for the kids. Doug helped me ALL day and cleaned the kitchen after dinner. That was the best present of the day.

On Friday, Ryan's class had a Mother's Day breakfast and program. He was so excited to serve me the food and give me all the things he made for me. He drew a picture of me that was adorable and will be framed and hung up next to Jacob's drawing of Doug. Now it will be a complete set! Anyway, he filled out a survey about me which was super cute. He had to fill in the blanks: My mom is "33" years old. She likes to watch "Dancing With the Stars". She always "gardens". Sometimes she "gets mad". Her favorite food is "pizza". She is good at cooking "macaroni and cheese". Her best is friend is "my dad". Her favorite color is "yellow". My mom likes to take me to "Toys R Us". The reason I love my mom is "her hugs". Some of his answers were correct and some were not. I'll let you guess which one is which.

I hope you all had a great Mother's Day too. This week will be exciting because I have my ultrasound on Thursday and hopefully the baby will cooperate and we can find out what we're having! Also, there's much more I need to catch up on so stay tuned!
