With all these fires raging around us we have been stuck inside because the air is so smoky and hot! The kids have been out of school for a couple days and we've enjoyed the time together. We saw a movie at the cheap theater in town which was fun and today we've been cleaning, playing games, and we're off in a bit to do some shopping. The shopping part isn't so fun with 3 kids in tow, but it's gotta be done.
Thanks to all the calls and emails checking up on us. We're sad soccer is canceled tomorrow because my mom was supposed to come down and watch them. I'll miss their next game and that's their last one so I'm sad to not be able to see them play again this season. They both have done so well this season and it's getting pretty exciting to watch them the older they get. Basketball is next up for Jacob and Ryan gets to continue on with soccer because he was chosen by his coach to go onto this "by invitation only" soccer clinic and tournament. That starts the week after soccer ends so the running around continues a little longer.

I'm so glad you're okay. Would you PLEASE get a grab-and-go bag ready? That wash behind your house makes me nuts thinking about fire.
I am also glad that you are all ok. Thanks for your phone call today. I wish we lived closer that way I could walk down to your house and visit. Robert, Rex and I miss you and your family.
We have also been a little stir crazy with the air quality so bad we have stayed indoors too. We just got a chance to go out to the park today with the Christensens. She asked how you were doing and said "I need to call her!" We will see if she does.
We had our ward Halloween Party and it reminded me about the picture I took of Jacob and Ryan sitting in the stroller oh so long ago. They were so young and so were we. How long has it been? We love your family and always will.
Love, The Reddings
