Jacob played soccer this past spring and played with some of his friends from church.
Our good friend, Jason was his coach and Jacob showed a lot of improvement and ended up being recruited for club soccer for the fall.
Their team lost only game! I just love watching him play soccer. He hustles and just loves the game. Way to go, Jake!
Ryan played spring baseball and was really successful! He hadn't played in a couple years so we weren't sure how he would do. His coaches were fantastic and he ended up batting 4th every game because he had a hot bat.
We kept thinking he would hit it over the fence but he couldn't quite get it over (although he hit it a few times!)
Ryan's first game he received the game ball for being the first one on defense to field a grounder and get a runner out and being the first one on his team to get on base.
We're looking forward to next spring for him to go at it again. He thinks he might want to try pitching so I need to find someone who knows what they're doing because that's one thing we can't help him with. Should be interesting!
