I think I just might have the cutest kids in the world! However, don't let this picture fool you.....one minute before this was taken there might have been some yelling and a few tears.
Mother's Day this year seemed really exhausting. We have 8:30 a.m. church so that leaves NO sleeping in and I got a quick breakfast in bed (which really was me sneaking into bed with my church clothes on while the kids brought in a tray of scrambled eggs and toast. They had no idea I'd already been up for an hour!), making an embarrassing comment in church that left me obsessing about it for the whole day, rushing to OC for celebrating at my mom's and getting dinner ready there (while my significant other was sleeping on the couch, mind you!).
By the time I got home all I wanted to do was just crash in my bed. However, when I think about it, I wouldn't have spent my Mother's Day doing anything else. I love being a mother more than anything else and I'm still smiling when I think of my children singing in church that day "Love is Spoken Here". That song will get me every time. I am so blessed to have such a great mom myself and so happy I got to spend the day with her. Love you, Mom and hoping for many more Mother's Days with you.
