Gotta Love Ryan

Well, Ryan was in charge of the lesson for Family Home Evening on Monday night and he was very adomant that he was NOT going to do it. After many ideas and lots of patience later, he and Riley came up with something together and this is what he wrote and then read to us:

"First, we are going to read a story about Joseph Smith. And when we finish you need to draw a picture. Your picture must be good. If it is you get to watercolor with me and Riley. If it's not good, no treat for you!"



He did read to us the story about Joseph Smith being visited by Angel Moroni (which we learned happened on Josh's birthday, September 21!) and did a great job. He then showed us 2 pictures and said we had to draw one of the pictures. He would tell us if it was good or if we needed to work more on it. He decided Doug's was the best one and mine was barely acceptable for a treat.



Seriously, you've gotta love that kid or else you'd want to strangle him.
