Joshua is now 6 months old! I can't believe it. There's just no expressing how much I adore that little baby. He is seriously THE happiest baby around. The comment I hear over and over is how smiley he is. You even just look at him and he gets the hugest grin. It's so yummy. He rolls over about half way and then stops to play with his feet or hands. I'm sure he could do it if he wanted but he just won't go all the way over. It's so funny. He chews on 2 of his fingers all the time now so the whole teething thing has begun. Goody. He is just completely adorable and I can't imagine our family without him.

Jacob celebrated his 9th birthday last week. How did 9 years go by so fast? His birthday morning started off with Ryan waking up super early with Doug so he could get Jacob's breakfast dishes all set-up for him. He wanted to make Jacob breakfast. Unfortunately, he had to wait until Jacob and I woke up which was much later (hey, it's spring break - give me a break!). I came down and Ryan made Jake scrambled eggs and toast with a little help from me. It really was so sweet. This is an odd birthday year so he got to choose what he wanted to do to celebrate with just the family. As much as I tried to dissuade him against it, Jacob chose to go to Barf E. Cheese. Oops. I meant to say Chuck E. Cheese. Although the food we ordered (which I thought was pizza)was totally disgusting, the kids LOVED going there. Ryan used up 70 tokens in no time and was so excited to turn in all his tickets for some junky prizes.

All in all, we had a good time there and headed home for presents and brownies. He has been telling me forever that he wanted a "flag football set" and Ryan told me he wanted Mario Kart for Wii and he needed new church shoes so I thought I'd throw that in for another present. He was really excited.

Last weekend we headed up to the OC for a friend's baby blessing and then to celebrate his birthday with my family. He was so excited to receive the second Harry Potter book (he's 1 chapter away from finishing the first one) and to get little army guys (you know, like in Toy Story?). My mom loaded him up with new church clothes, shirts, and a bunch of books that he likes.

So, to sum it all up, my first baby is now 9 years old and my last baby is 6 months old. Seriously, I don't know how time just keep moving so fast but I love my life.
