Tonight is a sad night for me because our beloved prophet President Gordon B. Hinckley died tonight. He was 97 years old. I can't describe how much I love that man. I have always felt a link to him because we share the same birthday (June 23) and I have been able to see him speak in person quite a few times at BYU. He also just spoke to us here in Southern California 2 weeks ago for our stake conference broadcast. I will never forget him or the influence he has had on my life. It's comforting to think about his sweet reunion with his wife Marjorie who passed before him.
