Bad blogger

That's what I am. A bad blogger. Frankly, we don't do that much exciting stuff. However, over Labor Day weekend we took a trip to visit my aunt and uncle in the Bay Area which was tons of fun. I've been too busy (or lazy) to download or is it upload pictures. Anyway, stay tuned for that. The kids played in the pool almost all day most days and we went into the city on Saturday and saw all the great spots. The kids' favorite place was Chinatown and seeing the sea lions at Fisherman's Wharf. They were such troopers walking all over the city. No complaints really, except from Doug. We did take a taxi at the end of the day back to the subway station which was a first for me too. We spent one night outside Santa Cruz close to one of the Redwood Forest state parks and had a great time seeing the trees, riding a train around through the forest, visiting the visitors center, etc. Since we didn't take any trip this summer, this counts as our family vacation for the year. We loved visiting with our family and we miss them tons. Thanks, Brent, Wendy, and Hannah!
