Taylor Swift

My sister Briana and I went to see Taylor Swift in concert at the Orange County fair last week and had a BLAST!! Leann Rimes was the headlining act but we went for Taylor. Briana bought tickets and I told her I wanted to go. She told me the only way she would let me come is if I knew her songs and was a TRUE fan. She made me a CD of her songs and a super fan was born. I LOVE her and she is only 17! She writes all her songs and is totally adorable. We had great seats and got some great shots of her.


We were able to meet her after her concert where I then got to watch my sister become the "crazy" fan babbling on and on. We spoke with her dad in line who told us about a Christmas CD she's putting out this year. So Briana, after telling Taylor how "amazing she was in concert", then went on something like this in super speed....."I'm sooo excited for your Christmas CD to come out and my sister, she's right here, her favorite song on the CD is "Tied Together With a Smile" and it makes her cry." At this point I was looking at her like she's from a different planet knowing that I've never told her that before and then Taylor looks over at me and I just give her some cheesy smile. I was trying to pose for a picture with her and realized I was touching her hair, which is a big no no, and the person behind us in line got me in this picture looking like another "crazy" fan. Not a great celebrity encounter, but she was super sweet and signed our tickets anyway.


We laughed so hard that night and had a great time. I was very proud of myself because since our seats were not wheelchair accessible, I had to carry Briana down 26 rows and UP 26 rows after the concert. People were looking at us like we were freaks but I did it. Yes, my legs felt like jelly the rest of the night but I didn't drop her which was the most important part. Thanks for such a fun night, Briana! Let's do it again soon wihout becoming the "crazy super fans"!
