Gimpy hands

Well, this week has been a little crazy and that's why I haven't been able to post much. I've been to the doctor more this week than the last 2 years combined. First I went to the dr. because my left wrist has been bothering me for awhile. He sais I tore some ligaments or is it tendons? Who knows. All I know is he gave me this big brace to wear to keep it immobile. He referred me to physical therapy for a month 3 times a week. Yeah right. I'll just fit that right into my "extra time" and get baysitters for my kids. I'll just stick with the brace. Anyway, 2 days later I went to softball practice thinking I'll take it easy beacause of my wrist. Well, I was trying to catch a fly ball and it missed my glove and hit my ring finger on my right hand. After waking the next morning to the freakiest huge mass on my hand, I decided I should go to urgent care. (Thank you to everybody that helped with my kids during all of this.) 3-4 hours later I came home with a splint on my broken finger and needing to see an orthopedic dr because the bone fragment could move into my joint cavity! Oh, did I mention that I was throwing a huge baby shower Saturday for my friend Heather that just adopted a baby? Yeah, the craziest week. Now I have 2 hands not completely functional. My brain is on its way there too.
