Had a great week!

We had a busy and fun week. I had Ryan's preschool at our house this week and we talked about "Friendship". I had my sister Briana make each of the preschoolers into super hero "super friends" with pictures I took of them. They turned out soooooooo cute. Thanks, Briana! They also made cute little photo books with other pictures I took of them. It was really fun. I'm actually going to miss his little preschool. It's still up in the air about what we're doing for Ryan for preschool next year. We'll have to see how it works out.

Jacob played in his last tball game today and he had a great time. After his game we went to a pizza place for their team party. He was so excited to get his trophy. In fact, he is sleeping with it right now!!!! So cute. His coach told me that Jacob is one of the best on the team and he would love to have Jacob on his team again. I thought that was a sweet compliment.

Well, we were close yesterday. Bandit, our dog, chewed a big piece of our side gate off and ran away. Ryan came in the house to tell me he couldn't find Bandit and then we discovered the nice size hole. Needless to say, I was NOT happy. We need to find this dog a new home. He needs other dogs to play with or something, I don't know. Anyway, I walked up and down the street a few times to look for him and he was nowhere. Secretly, I was relieved and thought some other person will take him in and give him a great home. However, I went inside and found Ryan sobbing at the table. For those that know Ryan, that is very rare to see because he doesn't like to show genuine emotion like that. My heart just broke for him. He wouldn't accept any comfort from me and after a few minutes stopped crying and went on playing. I went outside a few minutes later and sure enough, there was Bandit. He ran right back through the hole he chewed and all was made right with Ryan. Doug was not happy he came back, but the kids are. Oh well.

Well, that's about it for this week. We're looking forward to Jake's last week of school and his little Kindergarten promotion on Wednesday. I don't know how I'll be able to send him to school ALL day next year. Anyway, it should be a fun week.
