What was I thinking?

It's been one week since we got a dog and I'm now asking myself what in the heck was I thinking by getting a dog? Bandit is a sweet dog and is wonderful with the kids. I guess I didn't realize all of the FUN dog things like: digging up my new garden, chewing up things out of the garbage (gross!), and who knew that dog pee kills the lawn? Apparently, I am the only one who didn't know that according to my husband. I've been trying to tell Doug that he needs to ask around at work for someone who wants a dog. But, my kids love Bandit. Well, I should say the boys do. Riley, not so much. It's good we have a gate on the side of the house so she can play in the backyard without the dog sniffing her and scaring her. We'll get some pictures up soon for you to see. I'm just trying to get in the mind set of being a dog owner. We're trying to find out ways to keep the pee from killing the grass. Any ideas? Oh well. I'm putting up some more cute pictures of the kids. Hope it works!
